The seventy six year old veteran journalist passed away peacefully this evening after suffering a two year battle with lung cancer. Rest in Peace Mr. Maxwell. You have influenced a generation.

Sean Paul's Weighs in on Local Music Ban

Sean Paul weighed in on the banning of explicit songs on local radio and tv on Zip 103 Fm today. He agreed that the Broadcasting Commission's stance was necessary expecially to maintain the moral fibre of the country. He also said every music has its time and place. He said that he continues to make music that is radio friendly.

Vybz Kartel Talks Back

Vybz Kartel is lashing out at the Jamaica Broadcasting Commision for banning all songs that they deem explicit and unfit for airplay from local tv and radio stations. Most of his songs fall into those categories. As a major headliner, Kartel, you have to take some responsibilities though man and agree that alot of your songs are not fit for radio or tv.

Usain Bolt Wants To Train In Ireland

During the summer Olympics everyone was gung ho about the local coaches and training facilities and how wonderful it was to know that most of the top athletes including Usain Bolt are being trained in Jamaica. Guess Usain does not feel the same. Somebody please correct me if Im wrong.
